spring gingham three ways

As of the past six months, I have realized that gingham is my new go-to pattern. When I was younger, I used to buy everything in stripes to the point that, when I hit high school, I vowed to never buy anything striped again, which lasted until my first year of college. I realize that when I find a pattern I like, I go completely crazy with it, but this time around, I've decided to own it. I bought gingham dresses, pants, shorts, shirts, and I have my eye on that new gingham two piece from Reformation that has been driving me batshit crazy for the past few weeks since they launched their swim line.I am also obsessed with my new sunhat from Kate Spade (similar here)! It can be difficult to style patterns, but what I have realized is this: the simpler, the better. I kept these looks so consistent and simple, it's stupid. I will likely have more looks for these pieces that are a little more thought out, but I wanted you to be able to visualize the piece on yourself, hence the stupidly-simple looks in these photos. I also styled some of my new looks with my new favorite Mariella Mules in Noir from Nisolo -- they are crazy high-quality and so comfortable, not to mention that they transition through the seasons effortlessly. And they're currently marked down if you're looking to buy! I am hoping to layer these with socks when fall rolls around hehehe. The shorts are from ASOS, the top is from Zara (similar here), and the pants are an online exclusive from Urban Outfitters. I wanted to keep my price point low and accessible for these pieces for the season to allow me to experiment in case I abruptly decide gingham is no longer my thing. Then, no harm, no foul.Until next post y'all. xx
